By creating an account or using MscTutor, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms on your behalf, as required by Indiaโs DPDP Act 2023.
You must be at least 13 to register independently. Users between 13 and 17 require verifiable parental consent. Users under 13 may only use the service through a parent-managed account. School-administered student accounts must be created with documented parental consent on file at the school.
Reading NCERT content, the formula bank, community comments, and a daily quota of AI questions are free. Free accounts currently receive 2 AI answers per day (10 per 30 days). Limits may change with reasonable notice.
Paid plans grant additional credits, AI Teacher / voice / avatar access, and storage. Payments are processed in India by Razorpay. Prices are inclusive of applicable GST. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until cancelled from Dashboard โ Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; you retain access until then.
We offer a 7-day refund window for first-time paid subscriptions if you are dissatisfied. Top-up credit packs are non-refundable once consumed but unused top-up credits remain on your account indefinitely. To request a refund, email support@msctutor.in with your order ID within 7 days of payment.
School administrators warrant that they have collected required parental consent for every student record added to the platform, and that they comply with the Right to Education Act and applicable state education-data laws. The school account holder is responsible for distributing credits, managing teacher seats, and revoking access when staff or students leave.
Questions you ask may become part of our anonymised educational database. By submitting a question you grant MscTutor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, modify and use that content for educational purposes. You retain ownership of your original content. You may request removal of any of your past questions by emailing support@msctutor.in.
You may not: (a) use bots or scripts to automate AI requests, (b) share account credentials, (c) attempt to access other usersโ data, (d) upload copyrighted material you do not own, (e) submit content that is illegal, defamatory, sexual, or harassing, (f) reverse engineer the platform, or (g) use the service to build a competing product. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
AI-generated answers are best-effort educational explanations and may contain errors. Always verify important information with your teacher, textbook, or other authoritative source. MscTutor is not liable for outcomes (including exam results, admissions, or career decisions) based on AI output.
References to NCERT chapters, government textbooks, and copyrighted exam material are used under fair-use principles for non-commercial educational purposes. If you are a rights holder and believe content infringes, please follow the procedure on our DMCA page.
You may delete your account at any time from Dashboard โ Settings โ Delete My Account, which triggers a 30-day purge per our Privacy Policy. Detailed usage history (per-search records โ AI model, subject, chapter, time spent, credits used) is retained for a maximum of 6 months; after that it is automatically rolled up into anonymous monthly counts and the granular records are deleted. On account deletion your detailed usage is erased, and only a slim anonymised monthly usage summary plus legally-required billing records (pseudonymised, retained per Indian tax law) are kept. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these Terms or for prolonged inactivity exceeding 24 months.
MscTutor is provided โas isโ. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MscTutor, its owner, developers, employees, and any school (and its staff) that registered you, from and against any claim, loss, demand, cost, or legal action arising out of: your use of the service; any payment, refund, fee, or transaction; your data or content; the services you obtain through MscTutor; your breach of these Terms; or your violation of any law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release these parties from liability for such matters.
We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, or government action.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tehsil Court at Kotma and the District Court at Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh, India (Dola, Thana Ramnagar, Tehsil Kotma, District Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh, India). By creating an account you accept this venue, and you agree that any claim or legal action relating to MscTutor shall be brought only before these courts and not before any other court.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be emailed to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
