When you look in a mirror, you see a reflection. In a reflection: the image is the same distance behind the mirror as the object is in front. Left and right are swapped (your right hand appears to be on the left in the mirror). The mirror line is the line of symmetry. Reflections are used in: art, architecture, kaleidoscopes, designing logos.
