Discount and Marked Price

Marked Price (MP) = price written on item/tag. Discount = reduction on MP. Selling Price = MP - Discount. Discount % = (Discount/MP)×100. Example: MP=₹500, Discount=20%: Discount=₹100, SP=₹400. Always remember: Discount% is always on MP, not CP!
