Cube Roots

Cube root of n = ∛n = number m such that m³=n. ∛8=2, ∛27=3, ∛1000=10. Method: prime factorisation. Group prime factors in groups of 3. If each prime appears exactly 3 times → perfect cube. ∛216: 216=2³×3³=8×27. ∛216=2×3=6. Negative cube roots: ∛(-8)=-2 (only real cube root of negative number is negative).
