Sound is produced by VIBRATION. When an object vibrates, it disturbs nearby air particles, which in turn disturb others โ creating a wave. Examples: guitar string vibrates, vocal cords vibrate when we speak, drum membrane vibrates when hit. Without vibration โ no sound!
