Reading a Map
A map is a picture of a place as seen from above (top view). On a map: North is usually up, South is down, East is right, West is left. Symbols represent real objects: house symbol = house, tree symbol = park, road = line. Scale: 1 cm on map = 100 m in real life. Maps help us find our way!
